Most frame based fleet graphics have one thing in common: they offer tremendous value when compared to traditional wraps. The kind of versatility these changeable graphic systems offer, cannot be matched by adhesive graphics.
That being said, there are levels when it comes to the quality and design of each framing system. Below we compare the benefits of EZ-Change Fleet Graphics with those of a popular competitor.
Simple to Use
Both EZ-Change Fleet Graphics and the KWIK ZIP™ systems are pretty easy to use. Both systems will cut your fleets downtime significantly on the initial installation and on graphic changeouts. When compared to the effort and cost involved in installing traditional wraps, either product is a no brainer when it comes to branding your fleet.
No Special Vinyl
EZ-Change Fleet Graphics use raw edge vinyl with no special finishing. Our patented frame design forms a clamp that securely stretches and secures the graphics for a tight, wrinkle free finish.
KWIK ZIP™ graphics are designed using a heat welded bead. This bead slides into a track that is then stretched and attached to the truck or trailer. Unfortunately, the integrity of the entire graphic depends on that heat weld. If the heat weld fails, it puts the whole graphic in jeopardy.
Adapt Media On Site
When dealing with multiple graphic designs for multiple trailers at different locations, there can be many people involved in the decision process. Things like incorrect measurements, or a mistake in ordering, can dramatically slow the installation process.
Having the ability to customize and adapt the media onsite, offers a huge advantage in efficiency, EZ-Change Fleet Graphics frames and media are both customizable and can be adjusted as needed. Our raw edge media can be easily trimmed to compensate for any error in size.
KWIK ZIP’s™ special graphic finishing does not allow for trimming or adjustments if needed on the jobsite. This can bring the entire install to a screeching halt.
No Special Tools
EZ-Change Fleet Graphics require no special tools for installation. Our graphics are attached with rivets and secured with a screw gun. The KWIK ZIP™ system requires the use of their proprietary tool called the “KWIK ZIPPER”. According to their website, this tool is necessary to properly tension the vinyl. You must purchase this expensive tool in order to install, remove, or change the graphics.
No Cover Plates
EZ-Change Frames are custom mitered to form a 90 degree angle on all 4 corners. The frames come together to create a clean, seamless look.
KWIK ZIP™ frames come in standard pieces that do not connect at the corners. Cover plates must be installed in the corners to hide the fact that the frames do not connect. Those cover plates take away from the overall viewing space of the graphic.
No Extra Cost to Replace Vinyl
EZ-Change Fleet Graphics use raw edge vinyl media, allowing you to save up to 70% on replacement cost when compared to traditional wraps.
KWIK ZIP™ vinyl graphics are proprietary. All replacement graphics must be purchased from them directly, which can lead to higher prices, which can devalue the whole system.
